F.A.Q

I love receiving questions from my readers and I enjoy answering them too. Below are the questions in which I have been asked the most. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.

How would you describe your style?

I wouldn’t. My style is nothing spectacular at all and after having been a blogger for about a month and viewing the styles of other fashion bloggers, I’ve just come to the conclusion that I really don’t have one. I try though and the whole “trying to have style” process is actually quite tough and some times it results in making me look like I’m trying, which is the absolute worst.. I have a much easier time telling other people what to wear but I just find joy in the process of getting dressed. It’s fun! I rarely own any of the clothing I write of, I just love looking at it and researching who made it and for what season. Like Kanye West said though, “It’s way harder to dress down than to dress up. Casual is the true test of an outfit master. Old men dress the best. They’ll just be sitting in the park with a Missoni sweater, some tonal khakis, and some New Balance sneakers, and you’re like, Damn, that outfit is perfect.” That is just so true.

Why do you write on a blog? And what do you recommend to others who want to start a blog?

There are just some people who feel the need to publicly make their opinion or words heard – I am one of those people. I just feel the need to do most of the things I do in a public manner. Why, I do not know. It’s odd.

I fully recommend that you start a blog, if you want to. If you have something to say or express, go for it but do your research. There are several popular sites for blogging such as blogger, typepad and my personal favorite wordpress. Figure out which one is for you and just go with the flow. I completely recommend blogging.

Who is your style icon?

I have several style icons but I feel that Supermodel Erin Wasson is the style icon. She’s simply effortless. I adore everything she wears because it is usually such a simple ensemble yet she makes it look so incredible. I also like Victoria Beckham’s style due to the fact that she works very well with what God has given her and she wears high heels to absolutely anything and everything; From grocery shopping to soccer matches and she never apologizes for who she is, how little she (might) eat and what she has done in her career. She’s comes with no apologies and I think every woman should own that type of personality.

Can I wear this?

No one really writes the question to me. It’s more a question that I get in person but yes, you can wear whatever you please. At the end of the day, it does not matter what you wear or who designed it as long as you feel good wearing it. Whether you believe it or not, the most basic clothing takes a lot of time to create. A lot of people put thought in to one item of clothing knowing that someone, somewhere would wear it. So, wear whatever you please. Besides that, who am I to tell you what you can and can not wear?

What kind of music do you listen to?

I listen to everything and when I say everything, I mean it. My favorite artist will forever be Frank Sinatra. Right now, I’m really in to John Legend though.

What’s your favorite accesory?

Anything with a heel.

What’s your least favorite accesory?

Insecurity. I call it an accesory because it is something you carry with you but  it’s so debilitating.

  1. I have come to the conclusion that you need to go to school for fasion! why are you not going to school for fasion?

  2. Kajsa I dont know her, in fact i was browsing (creeping) facebook and i saw her face and thought wow i feel like ive known this person so somehow in about ten min i ended clicking on this website and have been totally impressed . But I digress :) :) this is my personal opinion and i’m basing it on her above answers to questions , check it. becuase for her to go to school for fashion would be such a waste of time. she already gets it, she needs other things in life for her to be constantly improving, and stimulating in all aspects positive and negative. a wide variety of information is the golden rule to life, you should always be making educated decisions, and everything in life is a giant circle. meaning, everything, every conversation, every image , every bit of knowledge, every taste, every friends perspective on an event, EVERYTHING is interconnected on some fundamental level. Therefore its important to be dynamic and diverse, because life has an order but we dont have it figured out so we are constantly faced with new obstacles , and if we tried to define ourself’s to be static and always be the same person, how would we adapt to our ever changing environment. And by the way, check out how professional this website is. impressive!!!!!
