Can anyone tell me if copying designs is legal? The bag above (which I am so in love with – it’s canvas and therefore environmentally friendly) isn’t exactly a copy, since that is not the Chanel font. However, Topshop certainly makes copying designs look legal. Gwen Stefani sued Forever21 awhile ago for Copyright infringement and I wonder if Topshop is next especially when it comes to Alexander Wang’s designs. Hm.

I felt I should also feature a few original designs from topshop. I just had to feature the crepe boot designed by Emma Cook. They’ve been out for awhile but I didn’t see them until today. I really like the peach/nude pair but the boot comes in various colors, black included. Another collection from Emma Cook will be available from Topshop at the end of July along with the Autumn/winter collection which will start selling at the end of August. Take a look:
& designs from Barbara Hulanicki:
I like her simple collection much more than Kate Moss’s overhyped, expensive one :)

I love the emma cook for topshop boots, but I’ve just recently discovered that they may not be as original as I had thought… they definitely have an earlier lookalike.
